I base my practise on a Jungian approach to therapy and have special interest in working with fairytales and more specifically the trickster archetype within us. I work with a variety of creative mediums including masks, music and film. I aim to utilize a persons own creativity for personal growth and change. I work on the hypothesis that personal choice equals personal change.

If we can work with the trickster in a positive way we can become more adaptable and confident. We can make changes that we may have thought we were unable to make. The trickster as ally is our friend and guide.

I offer group and Individual Dramatherapy.

I also do various training groups throughout the year.

Jungian Psychology/Fairytales

As a parent of a dyslexic, now at university, my experience of this is both personal and professional. As a working parent I understand how women need to balance their lives, but also need personal fulfillment on many different levels.
I believe that it is only by being fulfilled ourselves, that we can maintain good relationships with those we care for. My aim as a coach is to facilitate that fulfillment.

I also run Personal Development Sessions, in a small group of up to 6 people. These are aimed primarily at women, who need to build their confidence, are possibly getting back into work after bringing up a family. Each of the 4 sessions deals with a topic, such as Goal Setting, Confidence, NLP techniques, and Balancing Work and Family.

Personal Development - changing career, building confidence, balancing family & work.
Parent Coaching - tots to teens.
Lifestyle- weight loss, fitness.
Dyslexia/ADHD - advice and coaching for either adults or parents.

The Shambhala Training Centre is tucked away in a quiet lane off the Market Square in St Neots.  The Centre is situated in a Grade II listed building which is full of character and original features.  The equipment is modern and reflects the image of a professional salon.  We use a wide range of products which are sourced from organic and fair trade suppliers.

We are a small, private training facility offering adult beauty, holistic therapy training and workshops. Our staff and tutors are all highly qualified professionals with a wealth of experience and knowledge. 

Our speciality is short, intensive modular courses tailored to suit both absolute beginners and qualified therapists adding modules to their CV.   Our CPD workshops are often open to qualified therapists and members of the public.

We offer a flexible solution for the self-motivated student. Many of our students are qualified therapists who do not have the time to spend on lengthy rigid courses.  Our students determine the time it takes them to qualify as each student is given a personalised timetable.

The choice is yours.  You can study towards recognised beauty qualifications or simply to complete one of our courses for personal enjoyment.  Many of our students have commented on the perfect location of the centre and the gentle energy that fills Shambhala.
